The Black Dove, has the brothers in San Francisco investigating the murder of a friend who is killed in Chinatown. Hockensmith is a breath of fresh air. The Black Dove is the third in this wonderful historical series that features great plotting with facinating characters and excellent humor. Fans of the old fashioned crime mystery will be blown away, but all readers will love this original series. Collectors take note, 1st Editions are already getting hard to find.
