Hell To Pay

Over the past decade, George P. Pelecanos has gone from cult novelist to rising star in crime fiction. His gritty, urban novels, set in Washington DC, have been highly praised by critics and sought by collectors. His books have a level of authenticity and realism that separate him from other crime writers.
Hell to Pay is the second in the Strange-Quinn trilogy, but it is much more than a Private Eye novel. Although an outstanding mystery, this book is about people overcoming life's obstacles, fighting hard to do the right thing in an imperfect world. Hell to Pay is original and excellent and a great place to start for those readers who have not yet read Mr. Pelecanos.
