Patrick Quinlan has written an excellent nest of vipers thriller. Dick Miller, ex-con, has discovered his beautiful boss's dead body in the truck of his car and he cannot remember what happened the night before. He is of course, involved with killers, drug dealers, beautiful girls and money laundering scams and Miller is not too bright. Quinlan captures the ambiance of NYC and is deft at fast paced action that is both scary and funny. In the last two years alot of new authors have begun writing excellent, dark, comic, noir crime novels. We can add Patrick Quinlan to this list.
