MURDER OF A ROYAL PAIN
|
Denise Swanson is one of my favorite authors. She manages to take me away from
everything the world and lets me escape to Scumble Creek for a vacation. Of
course, what is relaxing for me is often the opposite for series character Skye
Denison, school psychologist.
In MURDER OF A ROYAL PAIN (I love her titles,) prom mother from hell, Annette
Paine is found dead. The candidates for suspects are plenty. Annette wasn’t
the only crazy mother with the need to live vicariously through her daughter
and see her crowned queen. Annette’s husband looks perfect for a set of
handcuffs as well. As usual, Skye’s life is crazy and her own problems
are only made more complicated by her involvement in trying to get to the bottom
of the murder.
Swanson has given me many a smile and many hours of wonderful fun reading. This
is just another in a long line of really great books.
