The Scarecrow
|
One of the truly great fiction authors of this generation, Michael Connelly
returns with his newest, The Scarecrow. Jack McEvoy, the hero of The Poet has
been fired by the LA Times. He begins to investigate a brutal murder of an exotic
dancer and realizes a sixteen year old gang banger is innocent and the killing
was done by a serial killer. He teams up again with FBI Agent Rachel Walling
and they go up against a killer who is a computer genius and can follow Jack's
moves.
As always Mr. Connelly's narrative is brilliant, to the point and totally believable.
He also gives insight into the fall of printed media. This is a scary book,
the plot flows smoothly but is a fast as a roller coaster. Do not miss it.
